Courtyard by Marriott Washington Downtown/Convention Center

We stayed here because of the proximity to the Convention Center. It was just across the street. Check in was easy, and they were able to give us the room early. There was hardly any wait for the elevators at any point during the stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well-insulated and quiet. The restaurant was nice, with good service.

This hotel is one of three Marriott properties at the same intersection, two blocks from a Metro station. Room layout was excellent. We never heard any other guests from our room. Elevators were fast and efficient. Fitness center had Life Fitness treadmills, decent weights, towels, as well as a nice view. Bathroom had plenty of counter space. Main room was spacious and abounded with outlets and USB ports. TV had access to HBO and YouTube in addition to a good station selection.

Nice big hotel but more for conferences. our room rate includes breakfast, 2 options (Full American or Avocado Toast) was good but for long stay same food may cause problem. room was big enough, especially the bathroom size was good. it was very clean and new furniture. good size roof top gym. only stayed one night...

Everything was superb, on par or exceeding the expectations of some of the 4 and 5 star accommodations in DC.

Location: The location was the best option of the hotel. 15 mins walk to the White house 10 mins drive to Reagan airport 4 mins walk to brand stores such as Gucci 5 mins walk to a Persian restaurant (Rumi's kitchen) 5 mins walk to a grocery store Room: We stayed in a King bed room and the size was enough for two people. The bathroom was clean.
